5th Grade - Class of 2024

This is an exciting time for our 5th graders and there will be a lot to do before their last year at Castille is complete.  Below is a checklist to help our parents organize and stay on top of deadlines.  Yearbook Password =  Castille2324!

  • 3/25/2024 - Yearbook Dedications Due Yearbook Dedication Submission  
  • 3/25/2024 - 5th Grade “Through the Years” photos due.  No late submissions will be accepted. 
  • 3/25/2024- Preschool-5th Grade at Castille photos due.  No late submissions will be accepted.
  • 3/25/2024 - 5th Grade Survey Due - Students will complete AT SCHOOL.
  • 3/21/2024 - Yearbook Cover Contest Submissions Due - Yearbook Cover Contest Form and Info.  
  • 4/26/2024 - Buy your Yearbook! Orders are due by April 26th.

5th Grade Yearbook Dedications-DUE March 4th

Dear Castille 5th Grade Families,

As a Castille PTA tradition, we offer the families of our graduating 5th graders the opportunity to place a Dedication to their student in our yearbook.  All dedications are $5 paid on castillepta.org.  If you’d like to place an ad for your 5th grader, please read the instructions below and make sure to note the strict deadline and submission rules.

 

  • Dedication ads are 1/4th of a page and must be 4x6 size in jpg.format ONLY! NO other types of submissions can or will be accepted.  
    • When uploading photos please upload “ACTUAL IMAGE”.  We need the best resolution to use for the yearbook. Do NOT compress the image. If “ACTUAL RESOLUTION” is not an option on your device then choose the highest resolution for upload.
    • Suggested photo editing and design websites such as Canva, PicCollage, PosterMyWall, Photoshop, PicMonkey work very well and are easy to use. (Links below)
    • EXAMPLES of Dedications can be found in previous years Yearbooks.  Look in the back section of your child’s yearbook or ask to view one in the office.
    • PLEASE TRIPLE CHECK YOUR AD for spelling, cropped edges and everything!  All submissions are final once uploaded. 
    • UPLOAD to Dedication LINK - The upload password is Castille2324!  
  • ALL Dedications MUST BE SUBMITTED BY March 25th.  No late submissions can be accepted.

5th Grade Yearbook Photo Submissions - due march 11th

In addition to our 5th Grade Dedications, we would like to ask you for additional photos for the 5th Grade section of the yearbook.  

Through the Years:

  • Please submit 3-5 photos from your child’s time here at Castille.  We cannot guarantee that every photo will be used.  Group photos with friends work great!
    • Please be selective when choosing your photo/photos. Choose the best - those that are clear and not too small. 
    • When uploading photos please upload “ACTUAL IMAGE”.  We need the best resolution to use for the yearbook. Do NOT compress the image. If “ACTUAL RESOLUTION” is not an option on your device then choose the highest resolution for upload.
    • Upload to 5th Grade Through the Years - password is Castille2324!

Kindergarten Photo: 

  • Please send the yearbook a picture of your 5th grader in Kindergarten.

Preschool - 5th Grade AT Castille: 

  • If your child attended Castille starting in preschool through 5th grade, please submit one preschool photo and one 5th grade photo.  These will be placed side by side in the yearbook.
  • These can be their school pictures or ones from your own photos.
